Responsibilities
- Identifies new opportunities around New York City within commercial, multifamily, retail, and other facilities to sell our fire alarm and integrated security systems.
- Hunt, and prospecting new leads through a variety of strategies - cold calling, networking events, industry meet-ups, etc.
- Consistently close business deals by identifying client needs, negotiating win-win solutions, and driving opportunities from initial contact through signed agreements
- Maintains accurate sales activities around pipeline, and prospective customers.
- Build rapport and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Analyze and understand architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings/plans
- Reviews job labor, material, and time requirements by analyzing bid documents
- Develops cost estimates by gathering bid documents, blueprints, and project specification information
- Develops, and presents, required proposals.
- Build relationships with electrical and general contractors with an emphasis on finding new construction deals.
Qualifications
- 5 Years experience in selling to Electrical and General Contractors
- 5 years of selling Fire Alarm & Integrated Security
- Nicet level 2 Certified (Optional)
- Vast knowledge of NYC Fire Alarm Codes and NYFPA72
- CRM experience required
- Computer skills needed (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, etc.)
