yWe are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with prior Google POps Engineering experience to support the development, modernization, and maintenance of Google's internal applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Google's internal development frameworks, distributed systems, modern web technologies, and production-scale application development within Google's ecosystem

• zFamiliarity with data integration patterns and platforms used within Google's environment
• .Experience working with Google Spanner or similar distributed database technologies
• .Strong experience designing, developing, and implementing APIs and service integrations
• .Understanding of continuous integration, deployment, and release management processes within Google's engineering ecosystem
• .Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• .Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• .Prior experience working within Google POps Engineering is highly preferred

.Key Responsibilitie

• sDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable solutions for Google's internal business-critical applications
• .Build new features and enhancements using Java, Apps Framework, Boq, and related Google technologies
• .Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance
• .Participate in on-call support rotations for mission-critical applications and services
• .Collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to design and implement technical solutions
• .Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making processes
• .Promote engineering best practices related to code quality, security, maintainability, and scalability
• .Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• .Support application modernization initiatives, including migration of applications across platforms, frameworks, and infrastructure environments
• .Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services supporting internal Google operations

.Preferred Qualification

• sPrevious experience working directly with Google or Google POps Engineering teams
• .Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications
• .Familiarity with Google's internal development tools, deployment frameworks, and engineering best practices
• .Experience with production support, monitoring, and operational excellence initiatives
