We are looking for a skilled Senior Automation Engineer to lead infrastructure provisioning, build and deployment automation, and CI/CD improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Linux, Ansible, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
🔹 Required Skills & Experience
- 7 years: Linux OS and software patching/upgrades using Ansible.
- 7 years: Build/deployment automation, including database changes.
- 7 years: Automation scripting using Python, Bash, and Shell.
- 4 years: Infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
- 3 years: Git/Bitbucket source control, branching, merging, and administration.
- 2 years: Docker and Kubernetes for application packaging and container orchestration.
- 2 years: CI/CD pipeline development and management using Jenkins, TeamCity, and Ansible.
⭐ Preferred Skills
- 2 years of AWS infrastructure experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Ansible Tower/AWX, YAML, and automation best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting deployments, validating configurations, and improving release reliability.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure provisioning and application build/deployment automation.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and reusable automation scripts.
- Improve CI/CD workflows and software release processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps, architects, developers, deployment teams, and DBAs.
- Ensure consistent, reliable deployments across multiple environments.
- Participate in evening and weekend on-call support as required.
