What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Technician position at Kasmo?
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electro-Mechanical Technician to support production operations during weekend night shifts at our manufacturing facility in Ripon, Wisconsin. This position involves hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Install and maintain electrical/electronic controls using schematics and blueprints
- Design minor electrical circuits when needed
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
- Utilize a CMMS to manage work orders and part inventory
- Interpret blueprints, work from sketches, and follow verbal instructions
- Maintain electrical power and water distribution systems
Requirements:
- Associate degree (2-year) in a technical field
- 2–4 years of relevant hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints
- Comfortable using computers for maintenance tracking (CMMS experience preferred)
- Willingness to relocate to Ripon, WI, if located outside the area
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $35.90 – $40.03 (based on experience)
- Shift Differential: Additional $3.25/hr for weekend night shift
- Estimated Annual Salary: $71,000 – $80,000 (up to $83,000 based on qualifications)
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
