We’re seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide essential support to individuals with disabilities in both onsite programs at Bryan Manor and offsite programs at Kaskaskia Workshop, Inc. (KWI). Our onsite program at Bryan Manor supports individuals who cannot travel, while our offsite program ensures all clients have access to the same opportunities for community engagement, independence, and personal growth.
Qualifications & Background Check
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Prior experience in assisted living, home care, or direct support roles (preferred)
- Knowledge of supporting individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs
- Ability to monitor vital signs is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs
- Compassionate, respectful, and dependable
- Flexibility to meet client scheduling needs
- All hires are subject to background checks, including DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) and HRWR (Health & Human Services Worker Registry) checks, as required by law
Benefits, Pay & Schedule
- Competitive pay: $15.50/hour (or according to experience)

- Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Part-Time: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:45 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Provide direct support in both onsite (Bryan Manor) and offsite (KWI) programs, ensuring clients' comfort, dignity, and well-being
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed, reporting changes to healthcare professionals
- Encourage community engagement and participation in activities promoting social skills and independence
- Support individuals with memory care needs using techniques that aid cognitive and emotional health
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other staff to create and implement individualized care plans
