About the Role

Penta Nascent is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cook Assistant to join our Food Services team at Lynwood Home. This part-time weekend position is perfect for someone who enjoys food preparation, values cleanliness, and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist with food preparation: wash, chop, and help with basic cooking tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen: wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and handle waste disposal
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Track kitchen supplies and alert the Cook when inventory is low
• Support timely and high-quality meal service

What We're Looking For

• Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain before starting)
• Dependable and able to follow instructions
• Comfortable working independently and in a team
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift kitchen items
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
