About the Role
Kashable is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Compliance Lead to join our growing Compliance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization while helping ensure our products, processes, and operations remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
The Regulatory Compliance Lead will support key compliance initiatives, including consumer complaint and credit dispute management, regulatory licensing activities, vendor due diligence, risk assessments, and regulatory examinations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is strategic, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with Kashable’s consumer complaint and credit disputes including drafting responses and escalating trends to senior management; assist with metrics reporting & provide input on process improvement
- Support the Compliance team with state licenses, including annual reports, license renewals and management of internal and external compliance reviews and examination by state and federal regulators or other regulatory agencies.
- Perform due diligence on new vendors, review third-party documents, identify gaps to ensure compliance.
- Assist with annual and ad-hoc risk assessments for Consumer and Regulatory Compliance Risk Assessment.
- Co-lead projects and collaborate with various teams, including marketing, operations, and engineering to identify and mitigate compliance risks on a range of legal and regulatory issues impacting Kashable’s products, business and customers.
- Assist Compliance team with any other ad-hoc tasks.

Education & Experience
- A minimum of 4-6 years' experience working for a fintech, bank, online lender, or credit card company.
- Demonstrated experience covering some or all of the following laws and regulations: BSA, ECOA, TILA, FCRA, SCRA, FDCPA, and UDAAP.
- Experience working with state or federal regulators is a plus.
Work Location
This is a hybrid position based in our New York City office.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications and job-related skills. We welcome all qualified candidates who are currently eligible to work full-time in the United States to apply.
