Job Summary:

• Looking for an experienced full stack engineer to join our technology team. Work on a Cyber Security product using cutting-edge technologies. The platform is deployed on AWS using the most modern DevOps tools.
• This is an opportunity to not only code but also work on DevOps processes for a large-scale SAAS product on AWS with advanced technologies and methodologies. Engineers also get an opportunity to interact with customers, evangelize the product and answer their questions.
  
  

Required & Desired Skills: Back-end:

• Core Java
• Spring MVC
• Spring Boot
• Spring Security
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Maven builds framework
  
  

UI:

• Core Java Script concepts
• AngularJS, Bootstrap and/or similar JS technologies
• D3 JS
• HTML5 and CSS3 concepts
• Experience with styling web pages using advanced HTML and styling concepts
• Experience with responsive web applications, meaning the same application should run on desktop and mobile devices
  
  

Databases:

• Experience with open-source relational databases like Postgres
• Experience with No-SQL databases like Cassandra
• Hibernate
  
  

DevOps

• Familiarity and willingness to work on DevOps tools, methodologies like Ansible/Chef or Puppet and Jenkins.
  
  

Miscellaneous

• Maven builds framework
• Experience with Git fundamentals and Git based code repositories like GitHub
• Tomcat
• Linux
  
  

Qualities we care about:

• Passion to work on new technologies. Tasks are not just for completion but considered as an opportunity to learn new things. Interested in and able to solve complex problems. Given a problem, you can go out and research technologies and come up with elegant solutions.
• Should have worked on at least one complex product, end to end development and deployment to production and ongoing maintenance.
• Working on consulting companies for small durations is not an ideal experience for us.
• Rankings on open competitions like Kaggle or Hacker rank is preferred.
• Demonstrated interest/experience in Cyber Security is preferred.
• Demonstrated interest/experience in algorithm-based product development is preferred.
• Superior communication skills like frequent interaction with customers are needed.
• Attention to details and ability to go deep into technology and products.
