Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bath Installer - Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and remodeling bathroom fixtures and cabinetry, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install bathroom fixtures such as vanities, cabinets, tubs, showers, and related trim components with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation of all elements.
- Perform plumbing connections and adjustments, ensuring proper sealing and functionality of fixtures.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for framing, caulking, drywall finishing, tile laying, and other carpentry tasks.
- Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of bathroom remodels or installations.
- Assist with restoration work including plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, or masonry as needed for seamless integration.
- Operate heavy equipment when required for demolition or site preparation activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, bathroom installation, or related construction roles with a focus on residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical basics related to fixtures, and fixture installation techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., grinders, sanders), and heavy equipment when necessary.
- Experience with tile laying, drywall finishing (including plastering), caulking, trim carpentry, roofing basics, and stucco application is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for proper installation procedures.
- Knowledge of construction management practices including safety standards and inspection protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site during project execution.
- Valid driver's license preferred; certification in construction safety or relevant trade certifications is a plus.
