1. Reports To:
Quality Assurance Engineer/ Quality Assurance Supervisor/Quality Assurance Groupleader
2. Description:
Confirms specifications for incoming materials or components, documentation, and communicates problems with Quality Assurance Personnel.
3. Responsibilities:
- Inspects material, component parts, and finished goods for uniformity of color, surface defects, dimensional instructions or blueprints by using measuring instruments and test equipment.
- Records data concerning product variation or defects.
- Identifies and tags accepted or rejected material within the department's assigned areas.
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures
4. Education:
- High School education or GED.
5. Experience:
- 1 or more years of Manufacturing experience..
6. Skills:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions..
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds.
7. Training Specific To Position:
- Ability to operate a variety of testing instruments and equipment.
8. OTHER:
- Must be willing to work overtime at a last moments notice..
- Must be able to work any assigned shift.
