Karvo Companies is looking for an experienced Construction / Underground Utilities Estimator to join our growing team. What You'll Do

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for underground utility and heavy civil construction projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop complete project estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for sanitary sewer, storm sewer, waterline, excavation, grading, and related site work.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop project budgets and cost analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, and leadership throughout the bidding process.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and potential project risks.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction or underground utilities.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility installation, earthwork, and site development.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Experience with HCSS Estimating Software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
• Experience with bid projects on ODOT, City or County
