Construction Claims Coordinator

Karvo Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Claims Coordinator to support our operations team by managing, tracking, and coordinating construction-related claims and project documentation. This position plays a key role in protecting company interests while maintaining strong communication between project teams, subcontractors, clients, and insurance representatives.
Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage construction claims documentation, reporting, and tracking
• Assist with gathering project records including daily reports, photos, schedules, contracts, and correspondence
• Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, insurance carriers, and legal representatives as needed
• Maintain accurate claim files and ensure timely submission of required documentation
• Track claim statuses, deadlines, and resolutions
• Support risk management and compliance initiatives across active projects
• Review incident reports and assist with follow-up investigations
• Prepare summaries, reports, and claim-related correspondence
• Assist with administrative duties related to project and operations support

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction administration, claims coordination, risk management, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Knowledge of heavy highway or civil construction industry is a plus
