Position Overview:
Karst Stage is looking for a Compliance Specialist to implement and administer the Company’s safety and compliance requirements to ensure a safe operating environment. This position is also responsible for facilitating the Company service process in ways that meet or exceed customer and Company expectations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining business affairs and acting as the Customer Service Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Writer - Effectively facilitates the company service process in ways that meet or exceed customer and company expectations.
- Effectively coordinate the satisfactory and timely completion of vehicle services by working with mechanics to plan the work, ordering the parts, and coordinating the dispatching of the vehicle.
- Parts Support – effectively shops for parts/supplies for the best value, orders parts as needed to maintain inventory levels in ways that balance cost and availability needs.
Safety Compliance - Administer Safety and Compliance requirements to ensure safe operating environment.
- Monitor the company’s fleet telematics system to track driver performance and compliance issues and communicate appropriate actions to Operations.
- Work with Safety and Compliance for the completion of required reports (ie. MCS-150, IFTA, National Park CUA, etc.)
Billing and Customer Service Specialist - Effectively achieves high levels of client satisfaction in ways that generate customer loyalty and growth.
- Responsive to customer feedback, including resolution of issues and problems in a timely manner.
- Prepare accurate and timely invoices for contract customers inclusive of all billing units (parts, runs, supplies, etc.).
Business Affairs - Effective and timely execution of Karst’s business affairs.
- Oversee the execution of payroll and payables.
- Collaborate with Accounting to facilitate accurate books and records
- Prepare ad-hoc and regular reports on Key Performance Measures
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Four-year degree and 3 years of related experience or High School diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience in transportation, safety, or related area
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
