Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant – Karnik Pet Lodge
Job Summary
Do you love dogs? Join our team at Karnik Pet Lodge, where we care for pets like family. We're hiring both Full-Time and Part-Time Attendants to supervise, engage, and care for dogs in our daycare and boarding facility.
This is a tipped position. The base rate is $12/hour, with an average of $2/hour in tips paid out weekly, bringing total take-home pay to approximately $14/hour. Base rate is flexible for candidates with strong relevant experience. Staff are paid every Friday for the prior Sunday–Saturday work week.
Availability
- We are open 630am-630pm Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm on Sunday
- Flexibility is a plus
- Weekends and holidays are required for this role as we are open 365 days per year in order to care for our guests

Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor dogs in daycare to ensure safety and well-being
- Lead playtime, interactive games, and exercise with the dogs
- Maintain a clean, sanitary environment — kennels, play areas, and common spaces
- Monitor dog behavior and manage pack dynamics
- Keep accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and owner instructions
What We're Looking For
- A genuine love of animals — required
- Animal handling experience (vet clinic, shelter, kennel, or similar) — preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn animal care best practices
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Comfortable interacting professionally with pet owners
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
