Summary
The Tool Crib Attendant will be expected to organize, restock and maintain the tool room. The Tool Crib Attendant receives on the job training and completes tasks with supervision. This position will also require scheduling machine preventative maintenance.

Compensation & Benefits
Cleans, organizes and labels fixtures.
Recommends fixture reconditioning or remake if necessary.
Maintains supply of tools using Kanban and/or vending machine.
Creates purchase requests for all machine shop tools and other supplies.
Reconditions tooling as needed.
Recycles used or broken tooling.
Prepares tool kits including fixtures.
Schedules monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual preventative machine maintenance.
Reports any machine damage or malfunction to management.
Logs preventative maintenance reports and machine damage/repairs using MaintainX.
Assists in minor machine repairs as required.
Coordinates with outside suppliers for major machine repairs.
Safely performs tasks, follows applicable safety practices, policies, and safe work behavior.
Work independently as required.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Required Responsibilities
Required Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Strong work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention adherence to safety
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Good math skills
Basic computer skills
Conventional machining experience is a plus
Forklift Experience Preferred
Ability to read, speak and write in English .
Education And Experience
High School Diploma or GED
