- Leads engineering teams with development of technical approach development, risk assessment, compliance matrices, hardware utilization matrices, and project plans (WBS) and costs
- Coordinates proposal reviews and closing of action items
- Handles complex proposals and ensures proposal compliance
- Aligns and uses Karman’s portfolio to meet customer requirements
- Engages in customer technical discussions and extend technical support to business development team
- Writes, compiles and manages all proposal documents, requirements, and checklists
- Develops business development documents including proposal templates, RFI responses, and customer presentations
- Implements Business Development team strategies to capture opportunities
- Responsible for proposal log tracking and on-time proposal submittal
- Preferred Education: B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Preferred Experience: 2 years experience engineering at Systima or 5 years engineering experience in space or defense industry.
- Additional Preferred Experience:
- Experience managing teams and/or projects
- Experience with customer presentations
- Exposure to concept development, technology application, and program planning
- Ability to communicate effectively with both written and spoken forms
- Ability to develop, plan and execute programs
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- 10-20% Travel Required

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
