Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering is a key role in the product development process and is responsible for ensuring producibility of products and robustness of process throughout the product lifecycle. Key involvement includes design for manufacturability early in the product development, ensuring intrinsic quality is built-in to the product through robustness of processes and supporting continuous improvement and maintenance throughout the production cycle. The Manufacturing Engineer position is focused on driving manufacturability aspects through engineering and production activity while continuing to build essential skills and experience. Reports to the IPT Lead.

- Integral part of product design team w/ primary responsibilities for DFMA
- Mentors junior manufacturing engineers
- Responsible for establishing, monitoring and validating production processes and controls – is processed owner or subject matter expert on critical processes
- Designs, develops and implements complex and critical forms of fixtures, tools, and inspection gages to facilitate fabrication and assembly
- Instrumental in material and resource planning and coordinating with the Product team to ensure schedules are kept
- Leads manufacturing work flow planning and production line setup
- Solves complex technical problems utilizing technical reference materials and various inspection tools and techniques
- Collaborates with all levels of other engineering disciples in representing manufacturing engineering
- Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 4 years relative industry experience
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude required and hands-on engineering experience in a fabrication and assembly shop environment.
- Ability to read and generate blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with basic material properties, in process verification and validation
- Must be proficient in GD&T.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary : $100,000 - $155,000
