Job Summary
Karma Automotive of Indianapolis is the city's premier destination for Karma's luxury extended-range electric vehicles. We're growing our service team and looking for a talented EV technician who's ready to work on some of the most sophisticated electric vehicles on the road today.
What you'll do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Karma electric and extended-range vehicles using factory diagnostic tools and software
- Inspect, test, and service high-voltage battery packs, charging systems, and electric drive units
- Perform routine maintenance and warranty repairs in compliance with Karma Automotive OEM standards
- Document repair orders accurately and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
- Follow all safety protocols related to high-voltage systems at all times
What we're looking for
- 2 years of automotive technician experience, with at least 1 year on EVs, hybrids, or extended-range vehicles
- ASE certification preferred; EV/HEV certification a strong plus
- Solid understanding of high-voltage safety procedures and best practices
- Proficient with diagnostic scan tools and OEM software platforms
- Valid driver's license with a clean record; ability to operate luxury vehicles
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality consistent with a luxury brand standar
