What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Karma Coffee LLC?
Job Summary
We are a passionate team of coffee and matcha lovers looking for an experienced barista to join our team at the newly opened second location in Stone Oak. Customer experience is the top priority for us. We are serving only high-quality product and pay great attention to detail. We are looking for a teammate who loves people and a great cup coffee/matcha just like us.
It’s a position with weekday and weekend morning shifts.
Requirements:
- Friendly demeanor and great customer service
- 1 year of specialty coffee shop experience
- Basic latte art skills
- Food Handler certification
Responsibilities:
- Take orders from the customers and input them into Square POS
- Operate Slayer espresso machine and Ceado coffee grinder, prepare coffee and other drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Perform other tasks related to operating a coffee shop
