Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Experience with various POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with strong time management skills, are highly valued. The bartender will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our patrons while maintaining high standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, ensuring a positive experience
- Manage POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure all bar tools are sanitized and in working order
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff or catering teams during events such as banquets or special functions
- Handle food safety procedures when serving food alongside beverages
- Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for events or shift changes
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments, including fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws and regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous roles involving catering, food industry experience, or retail math are advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
