As a Reprocessing Laboratory Specialist, you'll be responsible for executing laboratory tasks related to cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization cycles. You'll validate reprocessing methods, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure optimal product reprocessing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Reprocessing Methods: Conduct cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization cycles to simulate product use prior to testing.
- Operate Sterilization Equipment: Maintain laboratory tools and equipment, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct Routine Laboratory Activities: Ensure equipment maintenance, inventory management, and housekeeping are up-to-date.
- Follow Test Protocols: Complete all required documentation following good documentation practices (GDP).
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: In Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field, or relevant certification (e.g., sterile processing) with 2 years of laboratory experience.
- Regulated Lab Experience: 2-5 years in a regulated (GMP/GLP) lab environment.
- Familiarity with Sterilization Processes: Steam, vapor hydrogen peroxide, chemical, high-level disinfection, and cleaning processes.
