Buyer Planner - Finished Goods Supply Planning
Location: Auburn
Department: Supply Chain
KARL STORZ is seeking a detaildriven, proactive Buyer Planner to manage Finished Goods inventory and supply planning for a defined product portfolio. In this midlevel role, you'll ensure we have the Right Product, in the Right Place, at the Right Time, at the Right Cost, from the Right Supplier-supporting exceptional customer service and strong operational performance.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain demand and supply plans in partnership with Demand Planning, Marketing, and Product Management.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing, terms, and delivery commitments.
- Monitor supplier performance, expedite or delay orders as needed, and resolve delivery or receiving issues.
- Collaborate with Transportation, Warehouse, Quality, Customer Service, and Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and keep product flowing.
- Support lifecycle management, product availability communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold FDA 21CFR820 requirements and contribute to our Quality Management System.

- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Strong systems and computer skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and focus
- Solid math and problemsolving skills
- Selfmotivated, resultsoriented mindset
- Available for up to 10% travel
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills; Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience with MRP systems; SAP familiarity a plus
