Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure operational efficiency.
• Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to promote teamwork and high productivity.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners to optimize distribution center operations and delivery schedules.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and RF scanners to accurately track stock levels, process orders, and update records in real-time.
• Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and mechanical tools, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities, including heavy lifting procedures.

Skills

• Extensive experience in warehouse operations, distribution center management, or related fields with proven supervisory or managerial roles.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques, warehouse management systems (such as AS400), and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, planning, and communication purposes.
• Skilled in operating material handling equipment including forklifts and other mechanical devices; certification preferred.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff, communicate effectively at all levels, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude for understanding equipment maintenance needs and troubleshooting operational issues quickly.
