Responsibilities
- Transport salt and lime bulk loads to specified regional and cross-border locations
- Operate pneumatic dry bulk tankers, end dump, side dump, and flatbed trailers safely
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while maintaining proper handling
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure roadworthiness with pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records
- Adhere strictly to safety and compliance regulations on all routes
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules, working 4-6 days per week with alternating weekend shifts, weekday shift options, and weekend only shift options available
- Maintain daily home time with occasional overnight trip options
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - no restrictions
- Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
- Experience in commercial driving with strong safety compliance
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post trip inspections
- Effective time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating pneumatic dry bulk tankers and dump trailers a plus
- Familiarity with local and cross-border route navigation including Canadian destinations
- Strong record of safety compliance and DOT regulations
