Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retail Salesperson located in Ankeny, IA. The Retail Salesperson will be responsible for assisting customers with vehicle inquiries, showcasing inventory, and providing exceptional service throughout the car-buying process. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, achieving sales goals, conducting test drives, presenting product features, and maintaining knowledge of current inventory. Collaboration with team members and a commitment to customer satisfaction are key elements of this role.
Qualifications
- Customer service and interpersonal skills for effectively building relationships with customers and ensuring a positive experience
- Sales and negotiation skills to meet or exceed sales targets and assist customers confidently in decision-making
- Knowledge or enthusiasm for automobiles, with the ability to communicate product features and benefits clearly
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and appointments efficiently
- Basic computer proficiency to work with sales tools and inventory systems
- Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous sales or automotive experience is an advantage
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
