Karibu Home is an Assisted Living Home located in Anchorage, Alaska, dedicated to helping young adults with mental and physical disabilities achieve their short- and long-term goals and become as independent as possible. We are looking for reliable, outgoing individuals to join our professional, social, and supportive team.
We are currently hiring for day shift positions. A valid driver's license is required for this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the health and safety of our clients.
- Caring for individuals by providing companionship and personal care.
- Assisting with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration.
- Providing guidance on developmental goals, community participation, exercise, and nutrition.
- Supporting the development of essential life skills.
- Encouraging and assisting clients in maintaining a clean environment and personal hygiene.
- Supervising clients and maintaining accurate records of their progress.
