Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Irvine, CA. The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation of financial statements, perform and review journal entries, and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. The role involves managing fixed asset accounting, analyzing financial data to inform strategic decisions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will collaborate with various departments to support budget preparation, audits, and financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Financial Statements, including the ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret them
- Proficiency in conducting Journal Entries and managing Fixed Assets alongside accounting operations
- Excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to evaluate financial data and support data-driven decision-making processes
- Knowledge in Finance principles and practices, including budgeting and financial planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is preferred
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various teams
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance leadership role is an advantage
