What You’ll Do
As a Caregiver, you become a trusted companion and essential support for seniors who rely on you. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing hands‑on, person‑centered care with empathy and professionalism
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Monitoring and recording vital signs (blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse)
- Offering medication reminders and maintaining accurate documentation
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comforting home environment
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals tailored to client needs
- Offering emotional support, companionship, and reassurance to clients and their families
- Using reliable company transportation for local appointments or outings
Every task you complete contributes to a senior’s sense of safety, comfort, and well‑being.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of healthcare procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper body mechanics
- Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or medical offices is preferred
