**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in the Grand Prairie, Oak Cliff, and Duncanville areas. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
**Duties:**
- Implement treatment plans as directed by the physical therapist
- Assist patients with exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on therapy procedures
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
**Qualifications:**
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and documentation skills.
- Experience in patient care, particularly in geriatrics, orthopedics and acute care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with Home Health
- Understanding of care techniques specific to various patient populations
