Join Our Team as a Plumbing Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Plumbing Estimator to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in plumbing systems, construction project estimation, and an analytical approach to problem-solving. The Plumbing Estimator will play a key role in our project workflow, ensuring accurate and competitive bids for upcoming projects.

·        Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects.

·        Perform quantity take-offs and develop detailed material and labor cost breakdowns.

·        Solicit pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring the best possible value for the company.

·        Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive bid proposals.

·        Analyze historical data and market trends to inform estimates and pricing strategies.

·        Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary to gather project information.

·        Prepare and submit bid packages in accordance with company policies and client requirements.

·        Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives during the estimation process.

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        Minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing estimating or a closely related role.

·        Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and industry practices.

·        Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

·        Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

·        Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.

·        Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
