We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders and packing lists using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging products according to shipping schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software.
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup schedules, tracking shipments, and resolving delivery issues promptly.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory levels to support warehouse distribution accuracy.
- Assist in packaging products securely for shipment while adhering to safety standards and customer specifications.
- Support operations by organizing stock locations, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address shipment inquiries or issues related to order fulfillment.
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, load & unload procedures.
- Ability to operate RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math proficiency for inventory calculations and measurements.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, carriers, and customers.
- Experience in warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, order fulfillment.
