SALARY: $27/hour, bonus eligible
SHIFT: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm (hours are flexible)

ROLE SUMMARY: We are seeking a Jack of all trades Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including plumbing, landscaping, fabricating, equipment repair, and general building upkeep in one of Tempe's oldest warehouse structures from the early 1800s.

Job Responsibilities
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, fabrication, HVAC, irrigation, safety, etc.
- Performs minor facility repairs and routine maintenance activities such as painting, drywall repair, changing light bulbs and filters.
- Works with other maintenance crew and construction specialists as needed.
- Maintains outdoor spaces by removing trash, weeding, trimming, and pruning.
- Operates hand tools and power equipment, including mowers, leaf-blowers, trimmers.
- Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
- Keeps all public spaces neat and tidy.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Forklift certified preferred.
- Must be a self-starter that doesn't need to be micromanaged to complete assignments.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and processes of deduction. Communication and accountability are imperative.
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
- General maintenance skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours.
- Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
- Experience is operating hand tools, power tools, and outdoor equipment.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules and ability to handle chemicals safely.
- Must have a valid driver's license and able to lift at least 30 lbs.
