Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials across production and warehouse areas.
• Deliver raw materials, packaging, and components to production lines according to daily schedules.
• Remove finished goods from production and transport them to designated inventory or staging areas.
• Load and unload pallets, trailers, and materials following company and OSHA guidelines.
• Transport scrap, waste, and recyclable materials to proper disposal areas.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and report any forklift issues immediately.

Production Support

• Stage materials for upcoming production runs based on work orders.
• Verify correct materials are issued to each production line.
• Communicate material shortages, quality concerns, or discrepancies to Leads/Supervisors.
• Ensure finished products are labeled, wrapped, and placed correctly.

Inventory Control

• Use RF scanners or WMS to track materials accurately (training provided).
• Maintain correct inventory counts during material moves.
• Complete required logs, checklists, and production material documentation.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all Karat by Lollicup safety rules, SOPs, and GMP guidelines.
• Wear required PPE and maintain clean forklift lanes and material staging zones.
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and required training sessions.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment immediately.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.

Preferred:

• Forklift certification (company can certify upon hire).
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management software.
• Previous experience in a plastic manufacturing or production facility.

The forklift operator position at Lollicup is a warehouse position that is responsible for dropping and replenishing products in the appropriate pick slot locations, as well as keeping the floors fully stocked with products using our WMS System (Karat Portal) This position utilizes stand-up Crown reach trucks.

Scheduled Position Hours: Monday to Friday 4:00am - 12:30am some weekends, able to work overtime training shifts and attend meetings as needed.

COMPENSATION:

Up to $17/hour DOE Health/Dental/Vision benefits are available after passing a three-month probation period. 401(k) available after the first year.
