Summary:
Kapur welcomes experienced candidates for our Structural Engineer team. This highly motivated individual will join the team in the Transportation Department, based in either our Milwaukee, WI office or in Madison, Wisconsin, where you will develop design solutions for high profile major bridge projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, and specifications.
- Design and review design related calculations, reports, plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with internal project teams and clients to address issues or concerns related to design.
- Be part of business development pursuit, building client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis
- 10 years of relevant work experience
- Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications
- Prior experience using Leap Bridge, MicroStation, CONSPAN, and LPile is a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Prior experience on WisDOT bridge design projects will be a plus.
