Overall Assignment Description:
The candidate will serve as a Senior GEOINT Analyst supporting the NGA Office of Eurasia (AOE). The analyst will conduct advanced geospatial intelligence analysis, integrating multi-INT, imagery, vector, and raster datasets to produce high-value analytic products. The role involves building and managing GIS projects, performing spatiotemporal analysis, producing high-quality maps and visualizations, and optimizing geospatial workflows. The candidate will apply expert-level knowledge of ArcGIS tools, cartography, data visualization, and geospatial data standards to deliver accurate, mission-critical intelligence products in a dynamic analytic environment.
Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience:
- Master’s degree in geography, GIS, geospatial analysis, remote sensing, geodesy, geophysics, earth science, cartography, or related quantitative discipline; OR Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of advanced applied GIS experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating senior-level GEOINT proficiency.
- Minimum five (5) years conducting geospatial analysis.
- Demonstrated proficiency and production-level speed using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to perform spatial analysis, visualization, and data management.
- Proven experience conducting spatiotemporal geospatial analysis with diverse vector and raster datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate disparate datasets with imagery to perform multi-INT geospatial analysis.
- Completion of an Imagery Analysis Course.
- Experience with GIS workflow optimization, web service utilization, geospatial data standards, and templating for rapid and repeatable map production.
- Strong knowledge of cartography and visualization, including geographic design, layout, symbology, statistics, visual hierarchy, topography, color, and composition.
- Knowledge of Python and RemoteView.
- Experience producing high-quality maps and visualization products.
Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience:
- Experience supporting analysis related to Eurasia or regional-focused intelligence missions.
- Experience working within NGA or other IC geospatial production environments.
- Familiarity with automated geospatial workflows or scripting to enhance production efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary analytic teams.
Salary: $115k - $125k
