Overall Assignment Description:
The candidate will develop, analyze, and deliver Technical CI (Cyber) reporting and expertise in support of NGA, DoD, and Intelligence Community partners. Responsibilities include:
· Reporting & Analysis: Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Technical CI threat reports, as well as Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs). Reports will incorporate threat data, IC intelligence, fused all-source analysis, imagery when available, and actionable assessments for security decision makers.
· Investigations & Tools: Conduct inquiries into anomalous activity using investigative platforms (e.g., M3, Palantir, TAC, ARCSIGHT, RSA Security Analytics, CCD, QLIX, TIDE, Criss Cross).
· Technical CI Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise on cyber and technical surveillance threats; detect anomalous activity, develop leads, and conduct open-source and classified research.
· Collaboration & Liaison: Coordinate with NGA, CSOC, Insider Threat, DoD, and IC partners to support CI inquiries, incident response, and mission-related issues.
· Intelligence Production: Research, evaluate, and synthesize all-source data to identify patterns, linkages, and trends; produce clear, concise, BLUF-formatted intelligence products aligned with established standards.
· Threat Assessments: Conduct analysis, forecasts, and alerts, recommending countermeasures and informing leadership decisions.
Required skills and Demonstrated Experience:
· 11 years of Threat Analysis experience, 5 of those years include Technical Threat Analysis or cyber investigations.
· Possess or obtain certification to comply with DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance (IA) requirements within one calendar year of assignment at the sole expense of the vendor. Shall possess or obtain and maintain IA III certification. See DoD 8570.01-M for acceptable certifications for each IA level.
Desired skills and Demonstrated Experience:
· Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics disciplines.
· Post-graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering of Mathematics disciplines.
· Experience with malware analysis.
· Knowledge and understanding of foreign adversaries’ security and intelligence services, terrorist organizations, and threats posed to US Gov.
· Experience translating Government vision into understandable and achievable measures.
· Ability to coach teammates to achieve objectives.
· Ability to monitor and track progress towards achievable measures.
Salary: $125k-$135k
