Kappes Miller Family of Companies (KMFCOS), the Pacific Northwest's recognized leader in condominium management, with offices in Seattle, Bellevue, and Portland, is seeking a full-time Payroll & Accounting Specialist to support the daily accounting and payroll functions of the company.
Qualifications:
- Four years of accounting or payroll experience, or equivalent education
- Strong communication, math, and time management skills
- Ability to reconcile and interpret data across multiple sources
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Adaptable to shifting daily workflow demands
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; QuickBooks experience preferred
- High degree of discretion with confidential matters, including employee payroll and compensation data
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all employees, including timesheet reconciliation and corrections
- Maintain payroll records and ensure accurate, timely processing in compliance with company policy and applicable wage laws
- Prepare invoicing for inter-company divisional check runs
- Prepare, record, and process bank deposits
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Maintain organized record-keeping for all corporate and payroll-related files
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed
