A growing design and construct business is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their team.
The practice delivers workplace projects from strategy and design through to delivery, offering a highly integrated approach that allows teams to stay closely connected to project outcomes. Their work focuses on creating functional, considered environments while maintaining strong commercial awareness and delivery capability.
With projects managed end to end under one roof, the team works in a collaborative and fast-moving environment where designers are given ownership, direct client exposure and the opportunity to remain involved throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Role Overview
This role is suited to a Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 8 years’ experience delivering workplace projects.
You’ll be responsible for leading projects from concept through to completion, managing design development, consultant coordination and client engagement while ensuring projects remain commercially and technically aligned.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity suited to someone who enjoys owning projects end to end and working within a design and construct environment where decisions move quickly and collaboration is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead workplace and commercial projects from concept through to completion
• Manage client relationships and project communication
• Coordinate consultants and internal project teams
• Drive design development and documentation outcomes
• Support delivery and maintain alignment between design and construction
• Mentor and support junior team members
Skills & Experience
• Relevant qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• Minimum 8 years’ experience within an interior design practice
• Strong workplace and commercial project experience
• Proven capability delivering projects end to end
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD
• Experience working within a design and construct environment preferred
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
