American Swim Academy is hiring a part-time custodial member for our Fremont location.
The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functioning environment for our members and staff; this includes the interior and exterior of the swim school.
SCHEDULE
Friday & Saturday:
American Swim Academy has been teaching the Bay Area to swim since 1973. Our goal is to promote water safety, comfort, and stroke technique for all ages and all abilities. Join our team!
Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school. All inquiries about employment at these schools should be made directly to the school location, and not to US Swim School Association.

SCHEDULE
Friday & Saturday:
- Friday: 10:30 am-6:30 pm
- Saturday: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
- The ability to communicate with members, co-workers, school management, and Area Staff in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
- The ability to stand for the duration of the shift, up to 8 hours.
- The ability to bend, squat, and reach in order to clean for the duration of the shift, up to 8 hours.
- The ability to lift 0 - 25 pounds.
- The ability to carry out written and oral instructions.
- The ability to arrive on schedule and maintain regular attendance.
- The ability to respond appropriately to direction from a supervisor.
- The ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
- The ability to recognize potential hazards and respond appropriately.
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the cleaning tasks listed, including frequent walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
- The ability to use all appropriate cleaning solutions in a safe and approved manner.
- The ability to clean the facility with minimal interruption to members and staff.
- The ability to clean in a busy family environment while being friendly and courteous to members.
- $17 - $19 per hour based on experience
- Uniform shirt provided, casual dress code
