Client is implementing PeopleSoft Time and Labor module. This program introduces new time capture processes, including the implementation of TimeclocksPlus, and changes to payroll processing for non-exempt employees transitioning from monthly to bi-weekly payroll. The program includes multiple cross-campus workstreams requiring coordination between campus stakeholders, central UIS teams, and third-party vendors. Key focus areas include deployment of time capture solutions and addressing operational and financial impacts to Grants and Research functions. To ensure effective execution and stakeholder alignment, a dedicated Project Manager is required to lead both the TimeclocksPlus implementation workstream and the Grants & Research workstream.

Project Manager – Responsibilities
- As a member of the Time and Labor implementation program team, lead and manage two critical workstreams: TimeclocksPlus implementation and Grants & Research alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for the TimeclocksPlus workstream. Work closely with the third-party vendor and campus representatives to plan, track, and execute implementation activities across all campuses. Ensure alignment on deployment approach, timelines, dependencies, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings with the TimeclocksPlus vendor, UIS implementation team, and campus stakeholders. Track deliverables, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely execution of all activities related to time clock deployment.
- Lead the Grants & Research workstream by partnering with Controllers, Grants, and Finance stakeholders across campuses. Facilitate discussions to understand concerns arising from payroll and time reporting changes and ensure alignment on solutions.
- Collect, document, and track concerns and requirements related to both workstreams. Translate inputs into actionable tasks, clearly defined requirements, and prioritized work items.
- Develop and maintain detailed workstream plans, including milestones, timelines, owners, and dependencies. Ensure both workstreams remain on schedule and aligned with overall program timelines.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, UIS implementation team, and third-party vendor. Ensure clear communication, alignment on decisions, and timely resolution of issues.
- Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) for both workstreams. Proactively identify risks and escalate issues requiring leadership attention.
- Provide regular status updates to program leadership, including progress, risks, and key decisions. Ensure transparency and clear reporting across both workstreams.
- Experience managing large-scale ERP implementations, preferably PeopleSoft Time and Labor or similar workforce management solutions.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and managing cross-functional, multi-stakeholder workstreams.
- Understanding of grants management, research administration, or higher education finance is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage both operational teams and senior leadership.
- Strong project management skills including planning, tracking, risk management, and coordination across multiple workstreams.
