About the role
The Volunteer & Engagement Manager leads enterprise-wide volunteer strategy and community engagement, building a high-impact program that increases employee engagement, strengthens partnerships, and delivers measurable social impact. As a member of the Event Team, this role thrives in a collaborative culture that values creativity, teamwork, and delivering meaningful experiences that bring people together.
Location: Based at Kacmarcik Center for Human Performance (KCHP) in Grafton, WI.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute an enterprise-wide volunteer engagement strategy aligned to culture and community impact goals.
- Support signature initiatives and events, including KCHP programming, Kids2Kids Toy Drive, and Power of Humans activities.
- Set annual volunteer goals, participation benchmarks, and impact metrics; track and report results.
- Design and deliver meaningful volunteer experiences for employees, students, and community participants.
- Build and maintain relationships with nonprofits, schools, civic groups, and business partners; identify new partnership opportunities.
- Plan and execute volunteer events end-to-end, including logistics, vendor coordination, materials, and post-event evaluation.
- Oversee volunteer registration and tracking systems; maintain high-quality communications and follow-through.
- Manage budgets for volunteer initiatives and community programming.
- Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Events/Hospitality, and Power of Humans (501(c)(3)) to scale engagement and impact.
What we’re looking for
- 5–7 years of experience in volunteer management, community engagement, nonprofit leadership, and/or corporate social responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, community development, or related field.
- Proven ability to build partnerships and represent an organization externally.
- Strong program/project management skills, with experience delivering high-quality events and volunteer experiences.
- Comfortable using data and metrics to set goals, track participation, and report impact.
- Budget management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Availability to support some evenings/weekends as needed for events.
- Preferred: Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA/CAVS) and familiarity with 501(c)(3) partnerships.
