The Manufacturing Support Specialist (MSS) plays a critical support role within the manufacturing operation by ensuring production personnel have the materials, packaging, and resources necessary to maintain efficient production flow. This position supports operators by handling material movement, packaging preparation, and other production-related tasks, allowing operators to remain focused on running equipment and meeting production requirements.

Manufacturing Support Specialist– Kapco Grafton, WI
If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for a Manufacturing Support Specialist on our 1st or 2nd shift at our Grafton, WI location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides direct support to production operations to help maintain continuous workflow and minimize downtime
- Responsible for delivering materials, packaging, and supplies, to production work centers while ensuring finished goods, and other materials are removed in a timely manner
- Assembles and prepares packaging materials to meet production and shipping requirements and transports materials and products throughout the facility using powered walk-behind lift trucks and other approved material handling equipment
- Continuous monitoring of production areas to anticipate material and packaging needs before shortages impact operations
- Assist production operators with routine tasks that support operation efficiency and is responsible for maintaining accurate identification and organization of materials, parts and packaging
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to established housekeeping standards and following all company safety, quality, and operations procedures
- Other duties may be assigned by supervisors or management as needed to support business and production objectives
