Material Handler Lead - Grafton, WI
If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for a Material Handler Lead on our 2nd shift at our Grafton, WI facility.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and work with a team that handles in-plant materials.
- Picks up and delivers raw materials, work in process inventory, and packaging supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping areas.
- Loads coils.
- Returns correctly identified materials to proper location in inventory.
- Supply weld cells.
- Disposes of scrap.
- Performs necessary identification and inventory paperwork.
- Successfully completes forklift certification program.
- Practices safe and alert material handling at all times.
- Performs pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping.
- Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production.
- Keeps all materials and products neat and organized.
- Assists production operators with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed.
- Works between departments.
- Safety team member and leader.
- Keeps team engaged through communication and enthusiasm.
- Other duties as assigned.
