What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Kapal Industries?
The primary duty is making sales, which entails managing customer accounts and developing new accounts related to Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry, Closets, Countertops, Sinks, Hardware and All other related products to the industry. Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets and accounts. Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. This position is exempt under the law and does not entitle employee to overtime wages.
Availability: Monday – Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Travel outside of RGV when needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Work Site: Customarily and regularly at Customer’s places of business, Job Sites and on occasion, at Kapal facilities.
Commission will be paid quarterly and it will equal to a proportional sum based on percentage of sales if Company’s is profitable.
General Duties:
- Support New Costumer service, discussing details of projects, themes, layouts, colors, etc. to provide the best service possible.
- Maintain Relationship with Clients
- Design: Kitchen, Bath, Closets, Entertainment Centers, and Commercial related products.
- Submit Quotes/Bids.
- Read and Understand Contracts and Create a Traceability Report for every Project.
- Get Field Dimensions of Projects when Applicable.
- Follow-up on Production Schedule, Installation Schedule, up to the point to obtain the written release approval job satisfaction form the Customer.
- Collect Payments IF credit is approved to customer from Administration.
- Keep Cellphone/Files up-to-date.
- Keep record in Agenda Organizer (Outlook).
- Other duties as assigned by Kapal from time to time
