Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join our team at a large chemical processing facility. This is a hands-on, challenging role ideal for candidates with a strong background in electrical systems and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and maintenance on process control equipment, electrical distribution systems, and instrumentation.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and work overtime as needed (on-call pay provided).
- Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Diagnose equipment/system issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate labor and work history records using the CMMS work order system.
- Keep maintenance areas and equipment clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation and troubleshooting, or in electrical calibration and testing.
- Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and/or move items over 75lbs.
- Comfortable with moderate physical demands and frequent lifting.
- Must wear required PPE, including uniforms, hard hat, steel-toe boots, and safety glasses (PPE and uniforms provided by company).
Work Hours:
On-site: Monday-Friday 7 am - 3 pm
