You will be using your own car for this contractor job.What We Offer:Flexible, pre-scheduled trip assignmentsCompetitive per-trip or per-hour-equivalent compensation based on experience and availabilityPaid onboarding or required training, if applicableConsistent trip volume based on contractor availabilityVehicle Options (Independent Contractor Model):Contractors must either:Operate their own personal vehicle, meeting applicable NEMT and insurance requirements (most common), orOperate a company-provided wheelchair-accessible van, subject to very limited availability and possibly separate qualification requirementsBoth options are structured as independent contractor engagements, compensated on the same 1099 basis.Responsibilities:Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments and approved destinationsAssist passengers as reasonably necessary while maintaining professionalism and respectOperate a vehicle in a safe, clean, and dependable conditionCommunicate clearly with dispatch and follow assigned trip details, routes, and timingUse required routing or dispatch software during active trip servicesPreferred Qualifications (not required):Prior NEMT, rideshare, or professional driving experienceFamiliarity with Wichita and surrounding Kansas areasCaregiving, healthcare, or customer service backgroundStrong interpersonal skills with a calm, patient demeanorRequirements:Must be at least 21 years oldValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordReliable vehicle in good working condition (if using your own vehicle)Auto insurance meeting Kansas NEMT or rideshare requirementsAbility to safely perform the essential functions of the role, which may include assisting with items or mobility aids up to approximately 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodationSmartphone with GPS and data capabilityThis is an independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and vehicle-related expenses, including fuel, insurance, maintenance, and repairs.
