Kansas Paving located in Wichita, Ks is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators capable of operating multiple pieces of construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Equipment Operator include, but are not limited to:

Capable of operating multiple pieces of construction equipment used in construction, base preparation and paving including:

· Asphalt Screed,

· Loaders,

· Dozers,

· Graders,

· Skid Steers

· Blades

. Excavators

Use various pieces of equipment to perform fine grading and finishing, sloping and banking, backfilling, excavating and stockpiling.

We are also looking for team members with Asphalt experience.

• Raking
• Shoveling
• Paving
• Filling
• Crack & Seal Fill and Coat

Technical Knowledge:

Knowledge of heavy equipment operation

Knowledge of road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements.

Understanding of computerized controls and electronics.

Knowledge of laser equipment is helpful.

Knowledge of asphalt crushing operation in this position is helpful, but not required.
