What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide Full-time! position at KANSAS MEDICAL CENTER, LLC?
Be a part of a dynamic team in our Dietary/Cafeteria Department! Our Dietary Aides will:
- Coordinated and participate in a variety of clerical activities invovled in receiving and processing patient diet order; write diets for assigned area under supervision of dietitian; operate a computer to receive and transmit diet orders.
- Visit on the phone with patients on modified diets to determine food preferences and assist in assessment of nutritional needs; make diet changes as required and order appropriate substitutes or additional food items when necessary.
- Verify routine and modified diets ordered against patient diet record; prepare patient meals according to diet.
Food Handler's Card required; one year of experience in Dietary or related field required.
