Job Duties:
Preferred qualifications: A minimum of one year of experience in one or more of the following within the past five years:

Job Duties:
- Preparation of reports for sentencing and performance of all aspects of supervision related to adult and juvenile offenders under the jurisdiction of the District Court.
- Supervise a caseload of adult and juvenile offenders. Document all contacts, verify payments and balances owed to the District Court.
- Compile monthly statistics and verify completions of all court ordered conditions of probation.
- Prepare pre-sentence investigation reports and criminal history reports in both adult and juvenile cases. Correspondence with other agencies and the public.
- Testify in Court as needed and perform any additional duties as required by the Chief Court Services Officer or the Court.
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in criminal justice, social sciences or behavioral sciences.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills are required with the ability to interact respectfully with both clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practices in probation/ pretrial supervision is preferred.
- A familiarity working with justice-involved clients experiencing trauma, mental health, and/or substance use is preferred.

- Working with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health issues
