PURPOSE OF JOB: Collect, analyze, clean, display and report data from internal data systems.
What You'll Be Doing: (Responsibilities)
- Assist with collection of data required for state reporting.
- Auditing of various points of data collected in Infinite Campus.
- Utilize data health checks to improve integrity of data.
- Provide support for buildings and departments responsible for entering data.
- Develop functional relationships with various DESE core data departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
To Be Successful at This Job, You'll Need To: (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, computer science, technology, or research-related field.
- Three years’ experience with management and analysis of large data sets.
- Three years’ experience with relational databases and working knowledge of related software packages.
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
- Ability to function independently provided minimal direction.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Well developed, documented, problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet priority assignments and task deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to handle many concurrent tasks in a changing environment
- Competency in navigation on the Internet and use of information search engines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in work-related areas.
